Usage
This section provides detailed instructions on how to use the LLM-Driven Agentic System for various tasks. The system is designed to assist with internal and external database management, interactive visualization, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and generating recommendations for farm operations.
1.1 LLM-Driven Internal Database
This subsection explains how to utilize the LLM-Driven Agentic System to manage and interact with internal databases.
Example Prompts
- How many fields do I have?
- Tell me about the field 0955-Thatcher 95.
- Show me the fields that were planted in March 2024.
- Show me fields with the lowest emergence score.
- Where are my Dekalb fields that got below-average rain?
- Which of my hybrids has the highest yield potential right now?
- What is the planting date for the field 0955-Thatcher 95?
Note
If the database contains "N/A" data during sorting, it means there is no available data for the specified column. For example, if you sort by the "Emergence" column and it contains "N/A" values, the system will not return any fields/farms/growers because "N/A" is not valid for comparison. The "N/A" data might be due to various reasons, such as the data being collected in-season or some values not being available at the moment.
1.2 LLM-Driven External Database
This subsection covers the usage of the system for handling and querying external databases.
The external database contains agronomic knowledge from:
Example Prompts
- What is the factor that affects the yield of corn?
- What are the common pests that affect corn during May and June?
2.1 LLM-Interactive Visualization

- Show me the yield map for the field 0955-Thatcher 95.
2.2 LLM-Interactive Visualization with Filters
Instructions on applying filters to interactive visualizations for more refined data analysis.
Example Prompts

3.1 LLM-Adaptive EDA
Guidelines on performing adaptive exploratory data analysis using the system and visualizing the data in grouped bar charts.
The questions can be answered from the following perspectives:
- All available fields
- A specific farm
- A specific hybrid
- A specific county
- A specific grower
For the Looker report chart, there are six types of charts:
| Chart Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Yield Range Distribution | The distribution of yield range for all the fields |
| Yield Range Population Emergence | The chart shows that as yield ranges decrease, both plant emergence and the percentage of the target population emerged decline, despite a consistent planting population. |
| Yield Stress Score | The chart displays the relationship between yield ranges (x-axis) and stress levels (y-axis) using red bars, showing a trend in stress with yield ranges. |
| Yield Nutrient Deficiency V6-VT | The chart displays the relationship between yield ranges (x-axis) and nutrient deficiency (V6-VT) severity (y-axis) using orange bars, showing a trend in nutrient deficiency (V6-VT) with yield ranges. |
| Yield Nutrient Deficiency VT-R3 | The chart displays the relationship between yield ranges (x-axis) and nutrient deficiency (VT-R3) severity (y-axis) using yellow bars, showing a trend in nutrient deficiency (VT-R3) with yield ranges. |
| Yield Stay Green Score | The chart displays the relationship between yield ranges (x-axis) and stay green score (y-axis) using green bars, showing a static trend in stay green score with yield ranges. |
Example Prompts
- Show me the yield range distribution chart for my corn fields.
- Show me the yield range population emergence chart for my corn fields.
- Show me the yield stress score chart for my corn fields.
- Show me the yield nutrient deficiency V6-VT chart for my corn fields.
- Show me the yield nutrient deficiency VT-R3 chart for my corn fields.
- Show me the yield stay green score chart for my corn fields.
The response includes the chart and a description (e.g., trend and notable patterns) in the chart.

For the features correlation analysis, the system will provide the correlation matrix and the description of the correlation between the factors and the yield.
Example Prompts
- Analyze the factors that correlate with dry yield across all my fields.
- Analyze the factors that correlate with dry yield for the hybrid "Burrus 5F17Q".
- Analyze the factors that correlate with dry yield for the hybrid "Nu 73A6" during the late season.
- Analyze the factors that correlate with dry yield across all of my fields during the mid-season.
3.2 Integration of Hybrid Non-Linear Machine Learning Models
Steps to integrate hybrid non-linear machine learning models within the LLM-Driven Agentic System.
The questions can be answered from the following combination of the perspectives and the growth stage:
Available Perspectives and Growth Stages
| Available Perspective | Available Growth Stage |
|---|---|
| All available fields (default) | Emergence (default) |
| A specific farm | Nutrient Deficiency |
| A specific hybrid | Mid-Season Stress |
| A specific county | Late-Season Stress |
| A specific grower | Pre-Mature Death |
The response will include the statistical analysis (including Z-score) from non-linear machine learning models, along with an explanation of the results.
Example Prompts
- Provide the statistical analysis of yield for all my fields, including relevant tests and metrics.
- Provide the statistical analysis of yield for the hybrid "Burrus 5F17Q" during the Emergence, including relevant tests and metrics.
- Provide the statistical analysis of yield for the hybrid "Nu 73A6", including relevant tests and metrics.
4.1 LLM-Driven PSA by Selecting Controllable Features and Targeting Higher Yields
Follow these detailed instructions for conducting predictive and prescriptive analytics (PSA) by selecting controllable features to optimize yields. Use the statistical analysis from section 3.2 to identify the controllable factors that influence yield outcomes.
Example Prompts
- From your analysis, can you conclude any yield-impacting factors?
- What if the emergence rate is lower for this hybrid, how does it affect the yield?
- Can you do a causal analysis on my corn field's yield last year?
4.2 LLM-Based Agentic Reporting
This section explains how to generate comprehensive reports using the LLM-Driven Agentic System. The LLM will produce a post-season analysis report in IntelinAir standard format for:
- All available fields, categorized by crop type
The response will be formatted in Markdown and include an iframe link for the charts.
⚠️ Warning: Report generation and data retrieval may take several minutes. Please be patient while the system processes your request.
Example Prompts
- Please provide the post-season analysis report for all my corn fields.
4.3 LLM-Agentic Recommendations for Next Season's Field Operations
This section summarizes the scouting reports for each field throughout the year, focusing on potential disease or nutrient alerts. Please note that the LLM cannot verify the accuracy or quality of the scouting reports provided. The summary follows the IntelinAir standard format.
⚠️ Warning: Generating reports and retrieving data may take several minutes. Please be patient as the system processes your request.
Key Information:
- Highlight potential disease or nutrient alerts for each field based on the scouting reports.
Important: To generate an accurate report, a specific field name is required. Please ensure you provide the complete name of the field in your query.
